Last Saturday, we were bound to Bolinao in Pangasinan for our fieldwork. I packed and prepared the night before – towel, extra clothing, snorkeling device, my camera, food, toiletries, and other necessities that I need. After that me and my classmates who are also joining the fieldwork stayed overnight at the boarding house of my love interest.

We stayed overnight and I slept through the evening on her lap, while everyone was still awake. I was not having a good dream, so I woke up but the lights were already off. She is still awake, so I told here to sleep abut she said she can’t sleep if someone is watching her while sleeping. I just laughed it off. It’s a good feeling to hold the woman that you love in your own arms, I don’t know, it’s kind of heart warming. Especially when the one you love loves you back. It’s a good feeling – no. It’s the best that you can feel ever in the whole world.

So, we waited there, cuddling in the dark, until 2.30 in the morning. 3 A.M. will be the departure time, so we went there before 3. A.M. So she and her friends went with us to the assembly area. She still needs rest, so after I bid goodbye to her, they went home. Soon, we already got on the bus and waited for others who are a bit late on the schedule.

The travel time was pretty long, we left at nearly 4 in the morning, but the time originally scheduled for a breakfast stopover was still exact. After eating, we continued traveling until we reached University of the Philippines – Marine Science Institute. We dropped our bags at the dormitory we would be staying in and went for the seminar room for an orientation.

After that, we went to the Enchanted Cave.

This is one of my photos on the cave, posing with the rock structures around. The cave was short, but it was a great place for swimming.

And now, the collection of specimens. We would have to collect specimens on the inter-tidal region.

This is the region where we took pictures of specimens from the inter-tidal area. It was pretty cool, and although this part was usually not that deep, there were still parts which are waist-deep. Here is a sample picture:

After taking photographs, we went to the Bolinao Lighthouse. I had to admit, IT WAS COOL! It was my first time to visit a lighthouse. I’ve always wanted to go to a lighthouse. I don’t know why, but, it’s just plain cool.

The sunset. Oh yes. The sunset. We watched the sun set on the beach after going to the lighthouse.
I don’t usually take photos of myself, but I requested one.

No one knows how awesome sunsets are. They’re just so cool.

We got back to the dormitory after that.

Take a shower, changed clothes, ate dinner, took a brush, and prepared to rest. It’s a tiring day.
3.45 A.M. I woke up to change to attire suited for fieldwork and prepared the items and gear needed that day. The call time is still 6 in the morning, so I decided to sleep again. I was starting to doze off when someone opened the door fully and dropped the knob. But there was no one in there. I just said to myself “So the rumors were true..” And got back to sleep, ignoring the open door of our room.

We traveled by boat for 20-30 minutes from the estuary to the coral area. It was awesome. Oh yes of course it was full of corals. The first are was full of Tridacna. The second one was full of Chocolate Chip Starfishes. I also managed to take a photograph of a sea anemone.

After the tiring and fun activities we have gone through, we’re finally home!

I will not post most of the photos in here, but I will be posting them here after the field report. It may be best to hide the photos first, you know.

It’s the 25th of January. And guess what? It’s my birthday today! Nothing special really.

Here I am, sitting in front of my laptop, eating away the time that are supposed to be used for sleeping.
This is what happens when insomnia strikes, you are always half-asleep.

Your mind floats away, imagining things, making you think thoughts that are out-of-this-world.
But maybe sometimes they are beneficial, to others maybe, but for me, it is not that beneficial. It makes me moody throughout the day, making me show my bipolar characteristic as a person.

I’m onto weights training now. I’ve started last Tuesday, and I’m going to do it regularly as I consider it as a method of improving my own body. Also, I am trying to start reviewing for my exams. Although I think it is against my habit, as I don’t review before examinations, I think it is also beneficial for me. So I think it’s worth a shot.

Every Saturdays and Mondays we are required to attend NSTP to clean and landscape the garden of this particular school. It’s relatively easy, not that tiring, and I think serves as physical and a fun activity for those into plants like me. It sucks only because even though we have asked the Head of the School to supply us with materials last year, until now those materials that we have asked for are.. let’s just say that the materials to be provided are “still a long way off” or this term which I think is more appropriate: “virtually next to impossible”.
I want to talk with the School Head for the second time to settle these materials, or maybe they could just give us cash to fund these materials, so we could finish our work.

It’s almost 1 a.m., and I am still not asleep. Now, I’ve got no idea how will I survive classes throughout this day.

I just hope everything will be better.
And just so you know, I want someone to hug me today. 🙂

Good night.

It has been a long time since I have been able to post an update in here.
Anyways, people are now having time to rest being stressed out during the holidays.
My mind is also stressed right now, as examinations approach my first month on 2013.

My birthday is getting nearer and nearer as it seems, and I don’t feel like celebrating it. I don’t even know why.

I love how things are going not really well but it’s good enough. Well, that’s how days go by when you are in love: everything just goes so well, you don’t even feel every second that passes by through your life. 🙂

Now’s the official start of Christmas vacation. YYEAAAHH

There are a lot of things you have missed guys because I was not posting. I may have been too busy with other things like exams and more, but don’t you worry, I will relay all of those to you when I come back from my grandma’s, where I will be spending my Christmas.

The only thing that keeps me from you guys is the fact that I can’t get signal with my broadband in there. So I will not be able to access the internet for a while.

I’m gonna pack things up.
See ya later.

Advanced Merry Christmas guys!

This will be one of the happiest days of my life.
With all the things that happened, one page is not enough to relay them all.
Just kidding, I’m just happy. 😀

Anyways I woke up feeling sickly, but I still have to attend classes for the incoming exam. So I prepared my things earlier but I attended late. It’s okay, I understood SOME of the lecture that our professor has given us.

After attending the class, Two of my friends and I went to the mall to eat and photocopy some notes, which are needed for the exam. I also bought some medicine on the way. After going to the mall, I and another set of friends will have to go to Quezon Hill Elementary School to attend NSTP. NSTP means National Service Training Program. It is designed to train students to be open to the real world by performing services for them.

We investigated the area where we will perform our service.
It is a garden, but it needs to be maintained. So, we planned the materials needed for the garden and how we will design it. We need to perform landscaping on it, so it will be presentable enough to enter a contest. 😀

We went home after that. I turned on my laptop, checked the mail and a few things.
After that, I had a date with this girl. This girl, she’s so cute. She is..
Nevermind me. I know I am in love.

WHAT. You read it right. No need to explain. Haha.
Everything went well on our first date. After staying at a cafe, we went to a park for a walk. After a while, we noticed that there were fireworks. The first thing I thought was “Nice timing” because we were on an actual date. 🙂

On the way to her home, we bought some ice cream and ate it. Her friends were teasing me that I brought her home late and such.
But it was worth it.

And I knew, I’m going to break down these walls.
